Banjul, 27 March 2026: The Gambia last weekend welcomed the cruise ship Seven Seas Voyager at the Port of Banjul, with 597 passengers on board, as the 2025/2026 winter tourism season continues to gain momentum.
Officials from the Gambia Tourism Board, alongside West African Tours, received the visitors with vibrant cultural performances featuring traditional kora and balafon music.
The tourists later embarked on excursions to various destinations across the country, experiencing The Gambia’s rich culture, heritage, and renowned hospitality qualities that have earned the nation its title as “The Smiling Coast of Africa.”
