Environment Body Discusses Pressing Environmental Issues with VP Jallow

The Vice President and Chairperson of the Council of National Environment Agency (NEA) Management recently chaired a high-level meeting with management members at State House, Banjul.
The meeting brought together senior officials and members of the Council to discuss pressing environmental issues and assess the Agency’s ongoing initiatives. It also served as a critical platform to review progress, strengthen policy oversight, and align national efforts with international environmental commitments.
The council members emphasised the importance of enhanced coordination, stakeholder engagement, and innovative approaches in addressing complex environmental challenges. They reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring sustainable environmental management across the country.
