Honorable Amie Colley, the National Assembly Member for Foni Brefet has called on her people to unite and work towards maintaining peace and stability in Foni.
She made this remark recently during a presentation of football jerseys, and cooking utensils to the villages in her constituency, and a cash price of D15, 000 to the women group of each ward in her constituency. The ceremony was held at the Somita football field.
“The time for politics is over. Let us all unite and develop our region. Everything has a time. There is time for politics and there is time for development. So let’s come together and work,†she said.
She further stated that she will continue to do such kind of gestures for her people and many other development initiatives in the future.
According to her, everything presented to the people of her region comes from her own contribution, which is dear to her heart.
Speaker after speaker commended Honorable Colley for the good initiative and they all promised to put the donated items to good use.
