A press release from the Ministry of Information has indicated that The Gambia Government has received, with deep concern, reports of the shooting of a Gambian national domiciled in Germany by German Police.
“The government wishes to inform the general public that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and will provide full details in due course,” it assured.
“The Government wishes to assure the public that the life, safety and welfare of every Gambian matters,” the release concludes.
