On the margins of the 19th India-Africa Business Conclave of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Vice President His Excellency Mohammed B.S Jallow held a bilateral engagement with his counterpart, the Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, His Excellency Marie Cyril Eddy BOISSEZON, GOSK.
The bilateral meeting marked a pivotal moment for Gambia-Mauritius relationship, as it sought to enhance cooperation, and explore a wide range of opportunities.
Their discussion centered on opportunities in agriculture – particularly food security - space development, capacity building, and investment promotion.
The India-Africa Partnership Conclave, which was held in the Indian capital of New Delhi, from August 20th to 22nd 2024, focused on projects, trade, investments, exchange of knowledge and expertise, and creating shared value for government, business and industry at large, between India and Africa.
The occasion did not only set the ground for many new cross-border partnerships to take root, but also conducted a critical evaluation of the existing collaborative arrangements on the basis of which a new roadmap for future Africa partnerships was designed.
