The Minister of Information Dr Ismaila Ceesay has tipped President Adama Barrow to lead the OIC to fulfilling its agenda, as agreed in the 15th Banjul summit and to total success.
The Minister was speaking in an interview on the fringes of the closing session of the OIC Banjul Summit. He described The Gambia’s hosting of the Summit as unique; in the sense that it is a small country with a very small population, calling it a big achievement.
He said the 15th OIC Banjul Summit went well; from the administrative, security, accommodation, food.
Further on the capabilities of the President’s leadership, Minister Ceesay expressed confidence that he will promote peace in the Middle East as the OIC Chairman, ensure there is ever-lasting peace in Palestine and the Muslim Ummah’s agenda is promoted. “I think the President has the capability to ensure this is promoted”.
