The 2024 UN ECOSOC Youth Forum took place from April 16th to 18th at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the theme “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”. The focus is on poverty eradication (SDG 1), zero hunger (SDG 2), climate action (SDG 13), peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16), and partnerships for the goals (SDG 17).
It is an annual initiative of the ECOSOC President, providing a platform for young people to share their ideas, solutions, and innovations to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
