The Personnel Management Office (PMO) under the Ministry of Public Service, Administrative Reforms, Policy Coordination and Delivery, will conduct staff audit exercise for Civil Servants in the country from April 22nd to May 31st, 2024.
The exercise according to Mr. Babanding S. Manjang, Director, Human Resources Information Systems Division (HRISD) at the Personnel Management Office, will cover three major Ministries; namely: Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE), Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and Ministry of Health (MoH).
The objective of the exercise is to physically identify civil servants within these Ministries with a view to regularising any payroll abnormalities in terms of attendance, dates of birth, designation among others.
Mr. Manjang urged the staff of the above-named Ministries to be present within their various work stations in the scheduled periods mentioned above.
During the exercise, he added, it is mandatory for all staff to present the following documents before the esteemed team of auditors: First appointment letter, promotion letter, and confirmation letter, sick leave letter/study leave letter with or without salary/maternity leave letter, birth certificate, National Identity Card and Tin Certificate.
However, according to the HRISD Director, other ministries will also be audited in the near future but for now, the exercise will cover the three ministries mentioned above.
The first phase of the exercise will cover the following Regions; namely, North Bank, Central and Upper River Regions.
