Master’s Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism with a minimum of at
least 3 years working experience for direct entry
Minimum of 2 years satisfactory service as Senior Information Officer for

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate Newspaper Production and Publication Unit
Research and collect materials for government publications
Ensure that government publications are updated
Editorial/Feature writing for publications
Editing/selection of materials before publication
Assist in the implementation of Projects
Any other duties assigned by the Director of Information Services

Qualifcations

News coverage/reporting of special events
Editorial/Feature writing for publications
Headline writing for newspaper
Assist in editing of materials for publication
Proof-reading of documents before publication
Any other duties assigned by the Director of Information Services
