In a press release issued last week, the Government of The Gambia announced that “consistent with its regular practice of enhancing efficiency in Public Administration” a total of six Permanent Secretaries at various ministries, have been redeployed effective Wednesday December 28th 2022.
Accordingly, Permanent Secretary (PS) Saikou Sanyang from the Youth & Sports Ministry replaces PS Ndey Marie Njie at the Gender Ministry who is sent to Youth & Sports. PS Omar Gibba of the Fisheries Ministry moves to the Office of The President as PS Rohiatou Kah of the newly created Public Service Ministry goes to Fisheries.
Similarly, PS Lamin Camara from the Petroleum Ministry replaces PS Amie Njie at the Digital Economy Ministry who is now at Petroleum.
